About me

I am J.Sridhar (Highest Fide rating 2180) working as chess coach for the past 20 years and player as 30 years. Fide rated player working under popular Grandmaster in India, coaching many children from various countries through online. I have twenty years of professional teaching experience, and I enjoy working with Kids. I'm here for you and will do my best to make your kids a better chess player!. During my lessons I often concentrate Logical thinking in various aspects (Opening, strategy, endgame, tactics) game analysis are frequent, as well. My lesson plans are progressive and will be structured around your improvement. I created lot of strong players many of them above 2100 elo (D.S.sashank, Tejas, Mohanapriya(Asisan Junior runner), Siva mahadevan, Tarun v kanth, Vigneshwaran, Pranav vijay, Sandeep sethuraman(CM)U - 8, Ahilan nachiappan(CM) U-8. • Fide rated player highest rating is 2180 current rating is 2089
• 3 times came top 10 places in tamil nadu open state chess championship.
• Respresented as a team manager cum coach on 2003 for tamilnadu men and women team for national team championships
• Currently I am running Sri Chess Academy in trichy. My students Bargav narasimhan, keerthi srinath,vasundhara, nandhini, Sakthivel Selvaraj(former student), who are all performed state, national and fide rated tournaments.They increased their ratings considerably. Sakthivel performed as a state champion in U-13 state rapid championship.
